Best Practices to Protect Personal Information
Although Brink's works very hard to keep all of our users’ information secure, we need your help as well. Here's what you can do:

By enabling the screen lock on your phone and changing your passcode, PIN, and/or pattern frequently, you can reduce the risk of someone gaining access to your information.

Keeping a strong email password and updating it from time to time will help prevent someone from gaining access to your account.

Brink's may sometimes provide links or portals to other websites or applications. Always be aware when you are leaving Brink's and entering another website or application, and be sure to review the relevant privacy policies of the other websites or applications.

Brink's for Business Privacy Policy
Brink's respects your privacy and works hard to protect your personal information. We want you to understand how we may collect, store, use and protect your personal information. We will not share your information with anyone except as described in our detailed Privacy Policy.

When you signed up for a Brink's account, you agreed to accept this policy. We may change this policy at any time. We will notify you via email or an alert to your mobile device or computer about revisions to our Terms of Service. Revised policies will take immediate effect if you choose to continue to use Brink's products and services.

For the protection of minors, Brink's does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register with our service. No one under the age of 13 is allowed to provide any personal information to or on Brink's. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Brink's for Business Security Policy
We understand that our customers trust us with their money and the bulk of the work we’ve put in over the years has gone to ensure that we keep it protected. Brink's continues to work hard to keep its customers' data and money safe. Here are a few ways we strive to maintain the security of our products and customers:

Data Encryption
Brink's for Business uses 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to ensure personal information is protected, and all data is stored in highly secure data centers, which utilize state-of-the-art electronic surveillance and multi-factor access control systems. Here's how we encrypt your data:

On Your Computer: When you register or log in to Brink's, we confirm that your browser is running Secure Socket Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher, which secures the communication from your browser to brinksbusiness.com.

When Information is in Transit: All of your information is protected by SSL, which ensures that your information is encrypted so no one can steal it when it is sent across the internet.

On Our Website Servers: Your personal information is stored on our servers and heavily guarded, both physically and electronically.

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Compliance
Brink's is PCI DSS compliant. PCI DSS is a widely accepted set of policies and procedures intended to optimize the security of credit, debit, and cash card transactions and protect cardholders against misuse of their personal information.

PCI DSS compliance requirements were developed and are maintained by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council, and consist of a set of security controls that businesses are required to implement to protect credit card data and comply with the PCI Security Standards.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Company (FDIC) Insured*
FDIC provides its member institutions deposit insurance for up to $250,000 per ownership category.

*Funds held within Brink's are FDIC insured to at least $250,000 through The Bancorp Bank, N.A.; Member FDIC. This coverage is automatically applied upon opening a Brink's account, so no additional application needs to be made by the primary account holder in order to receive the FDIC insurance coverage.
